Earlier this week we had some fun visiting a new park. It's what Boo calls a "nature walk park" because there isn't a playground. It was a beautiful afternoon just waiting for an adventure -- the boys and I were eager to seek one out!

Tukes spotted a lizard; "dat" he said as he pointed it out to us. Boo, not to be outdone, quickly showed me these beautiful wild mushrooms.

The boys had a wonderful time feeding two very friendly mallards, a handful of turtles, and a slew of greedy fish.

We wandered, we explored, we looked, and we talked -- about the kinds of jeeps we'll have when we grow up! Boo's will be an off-roading jeep with flames painted on the hood, mine is to be a camouflaged army jeep. Tukes found a treasured rock and stick (something for each hand). Boo has resolved to return very soon with his "vinoculars" so that he can watch the birds. A fun time was had by all!
