I've been inspired by my friend Beth's weekly trips to the thrift store to shop for books. Her finds are yielding some wonderful additions to her family's library with very little cost. Our small town only has one thrift store and the book "department" is not very large, but on Saturday I made a trip there anyway primarily with books in mind. My search didn't produce any great classics but I did find three books in good condition that I know the boys will enjoy. They were fifty cents each; so for $1.50 I have a few good reads tucked away for them to find on Christmas morning!
