On Saturday morning we set out to buy our Christmas tree.
Yes, my friends, Tukes insisted on wearing a too-small, madras plaid, summer sun hat in honor of the occasion.
We had two very excited little boys who were determined to conquer the "jungle." At one point, while the professor was actually selecting the tree, I lost them both. Thankfully they were dressed in bright colors; very short people are difficult to find amongst 100 Christmas trees.
This is the finished product. We had fun decorating it Saturday evening. I especially loved hearing Tukes exclaim, "ohhhh, eeeee, ahhhhh" over and over and over. Boo proudly told me, "Look, I hung some ornaments so they touch the floor!" Obviously we had some redistributing to do!
