Productivity

There is no better way to inspire overzealous productivity in my husband than to plan for dinner company. Here is what he hopes to accomplish by 5 p.m. today:
  • Assemble and place our new kitchen work table.
  • Paint the kitchen ceiling.
  • Polish the chrome and glass coffee table.
  • Stretch the new painting on canvas stretchers and then hang it.
  • Rake the backyard.
  • Clean out the fish bowl.
I, in turn, must:
  • Make a quick trip to the grocery (with the boys in tow).
  • Vacuum and dust the house.
  • Prepare some food.
  • Find a new home for all of the cookbooks and table linens that are stored in the old kitchen island which is to be replaced with the work table.
