The professor and I have been considering outfitting ourselves with new bikes. The other evening as I was cooking dinner he surfed ebay in search of a Danish modern lounge chair. Suddenly he called to me from the next room, "Come here, I've found just the bike for you."Of course I went to investigate... with him one can only imagine what will turn up. With excitement he showed me a 1964 Sears Spaceliner bicycle. A sleek, vintage bike... friends, it doesn't get much more mod than this! The Spaceliner was designed by Viktor Schreckengost and manufactured by the Murray Company of Cleveland, Ohio.
So, if you see a crazy redhead riding a space-age bicycle in a small town near you... well, it just might be me!
