Sometimes the call of domesticity must be momentarily ignored. I should have been washing dishes or making beds or vacuuming my crumby floors this morning...

But, the eastern sunlight poured through the office window in the most distracting way, casting a warm glow and graceful shadows. This is why I love sunny, winter mornings.

And then it happened again this afternoon, about an hour before dusk, when I should have been folding laundry. Western sunlight crept in through the kitchen window and I was rendered useless, once more. Yes, there are times when the call of domesticity must be momentarily ignored.
