What a way to bring in the new year... the professor and I spent the day at Ikea! We came away with some odds and ends for the house, a bookcase for Tukes' room {our reason for going}, and inspiration for hanging the
red rooster {I certainly haven't forgotten about the handsome fellow}. I'd say it was a productive trip.
Ikea has their Swedish gingerbread house kits on sale for $1.49, and the freshness date is February 2010. Stock up now for next December, and buy a few extras to share with friends. I found them in the food market area after the main checkout.
