Summer Siesta

When a summer morning is filled with swimming and sunshine even energetic boys will succumb to an afternoon siesta as the sunlight begins to peak through west-facing windows. While the older one gets settled with a big stack of books {and Edward the sock monkey}, the little one will slip between cool sheets in a dim room without a fuss. Both will smell deliciously of fresh air and sunblock.
