Winter's Occasional Sepia Afternoon

I never tire of watching how the sunlight changes with the seasons of the year and over the hours of the day. While spring's fresh, dappled light and autumn's golden glow are my favorite times on the yearly calendar of light, from time to time winter surprises me by trading what is bleak, dull, and gray for a late afternoon showing of warmth in sepia tones. Irresistible!
