Painting After Dark



Several times a day she pulls the watercolors and paintbrushes out of our art cabinet, places them on the table, climbs up in the chair, and shouts, "Need water. Need paper." And then she paints, quietly and happily, for quite a while. It's become an obsession. She always tells me to add a goose to her paper. I try. The goose-thing has become an obsession, too.
