And here it is, the weekend upon us again. It's not cold enough for real frost yet, but we don't mind pretending. All is cozy and bright. We'll go for a walk in the breezy, autumn sunlight, and maybe down to the park. The professor wants to buy a cord of wood. The leaves on the patio must be swept and the acorns keep falling with loud pops. Tonight we'll eat roast chicken and fresh bread and be thankful to have a few days to exhale. In the morning the cat will ask for his breakfast. Naturally.
