August was a long, hot month. As Boo said last night, "I'm mighty tired." Yes, mighty tired indeed and looking forward to a respite from the heat. For me the month of September always brings with it the hopeful promise that, yes, the heat will subside, the shadows will start to grow long, and we'll settle into Autumn's comfortable chill before too long!
