Color in Boo's room
Over the weekend Boo enjoyed painting a pumpkin which he then declared needed to be placed in his room. After giving it some thought he decided the best place for it would be on top of his bookcase right in front of this colorful framed print of an abstract painting by Wassily Kandinsky. A Russian-born Bauhaus painter, printmaker, and art theorist, Kandinsky is one of the most famous 20th century painters and is credited with painting the first modern abstract works.
Strategically speaking (and otherwise) I'd say Boo did quite well indeed!

Now I'm off to spend the weekend with two dear friends from college. I'll see you on Monday!
