Farewell autumn

I must admit, I feel a bit forlorn saying goodbye to autumn this year. The leaves have been glorious, the sunshine so golden; we've spent many happy afternoons outdoors. It seems a bit too soon for fall to be leaving us.


But, the season of advent is upon us! By the time Christmas Day arrives the golden days of autumn will be replaced with frosty mornings and chilly afternoons making us happy to stay inside our cozy house.


Farewell autumn! How we welcomed you after a scorching summer and, oh, how we have enjoyed you. We'll look forward to seeing you next year!
