Found at the thrift store for only one dollar: a brand new, hard bound Houghton Mifflin Literary Reader.
I've added it to my stash of thrifted books for the boys to find under the tree on Christmas morning.
This volume includes some wonderful, classic stories (also some that I'm not familiar with) and beautiful illustrations.
Boo will enjoy it very much, and so will I!
