On Saturday afternoon, after a happy hour of bike riding for Boo and stroller pushing for Tukes, we stopped in at the professor's parents' house.
While visiting I glanced out of their back window to find the late afternoon sun highlighting the pink quince blooming in the backyard. Beautiful.
When a rare hour of quiet fell upon our house on Sunday afternoon I grabbed my camera and walked over to their house. These blooms are too pretty not to capture!
"Hello, little pink flowers. I am so glad to see you!"
Then, as I walked home I spotted yellow forsythia in bloom, which always tells me that Spring is on the way!
