While visiting my sister and her family we celebrated my nephew's second birthday one evening. I love how Anna added a splash of color to her white porcelain cake pedestal.
She simply wove colorful, grosgrain ribbon through the decorative holes in the plate and then tied it in a bow. What an easy transformation; simple and elegant became bright and fun, perfect for the bubbly birthday boy himself!
