This morning the professor and I boarded an airplane and headed west. He will be conferencing... I'm along for the fun.
We landed in Phoenix at noon -- just in time for monster tacos downtown at La Tolteca. Yum!
I got my first glimpses of this beautiful, dry, arid terrain as we headed north... mountains and mesas, boulders, big blue sky. I like it, a lot.
Sedona is breathtaking!I'll lay my head on a pillow in Flagstaff tonight. Tomorrow we're off to the Grand Canyon!
