Sushi

Last night we enjoyed having dinner with some friends from Taiwan. They love traditional Japanese food and were eager to share their homemade favorites with us. The table was beautifully laid... so colorful and so simple.

We sat around the table visiting while rolling sushi. Fun! The miso soup and sobe noodles were delicious, too.

The kids had a great time tromping up and down the steps... table to playroom and back again.

For dessert... totally American brownies and ice cream, and some Japanese plum wine. Next time our hosts plan for us to dine on eel!
