Carseat Safety
Yesterday morning Tukes and I were in a minor fender-bender when a newly driving, sixteen year old girl hit us from behind while we were stopped at a traffic light. The damage was minimal and no one was injured.
However, late yesterday afternoon I noticed that Tukes' carseat was loose, indeed it was barely anchored in our car. Whether it came loose from the impact we experienced or simply in the shuffle of day-to-day life, I don't know. What I do know is that God protected him.
If you have small children please take a few minutes today to make sure that all carseats are installed correctly and properly in your car. Over time it is possible for straps and tethers to come loose. No one plans to have a traffic accident but they happen, often when we least expect, so please be proactive in making sure that you are doing everything possible to protect your children in the car!
