Crafty Stocking Stuffers

In the days right before Christmas I kept the sewing machine humming during rare, quiet moments and after the boys were in bed. I had some crafty stocking stuffers to complete.

For my mom... moist heat packs {pictured above}. Cotton pouches filled with dry rice scented with a few drops of lemon oil. I made a large, sectioned one for back or leg pain and a small one to relieve sinus pressure. To use, simply heat in the microwave for a few minutes to produce a pleasantly fragrant, moist heat that soothes aches and pains.

For my nephews... an assortment of colorful felt food to stock the pantry of their new play kitchen.
