Tree Farming

There will be no "dashing through the snow" or "one horse open sleigh-ing" in this little corner of the world but, you can make your way out to the country on a chilly Saturday morning...

and ride behind a tractor.

The tractor will pull you to a distant field...

so that you can cut down your own Christmas tree.

Be sure to have a strong man and some eager helpers on hand.

The eager helpers may think that they can cut down the tree themselves.

The strong man will be needed. Let the eager helpers yell "Timber!"

Haul your tree home. {Please don't give the bow saw to the six-year-old! It's makes for a nervous mama.}

After serving lunch, dealing with a meltdown, and enforcing a nice long rest time have fun decorating it while monitoring the latest developments in college football.
