Second Grade

Last night I asked him if he wanted me to take him to school this morning and, perhaps, walk in with him. {Doesn't every mother-heart want to do that on the first day?} He gave me a confident, all-knowing look that spoke of experience and replied, "Daddy can take me and drop me off. I already know where my class is." And so it was.... we've commenced with second grade.
