Well, hello, first day of summer vacation. In all honesty, we've gotten off to a bumpy start, what with a colicky baby and the sharp realization that some in our household {ahem!} need intense manners training... right now the next three months seem to stretch out before me long and unending and hot. May these days be filled with grace, creativity, smiles... and many small pleasures like today's, my freshly watered orchid content in the kitchen sink.
