A Bookcase for Tukes

In October Tukes gave up his crib. The baby bed came down and we stowed it away. The rocking chair followed soon after. Ahhhh, how nice! Suddenly there was more space in his crowded bedroom {a room that also serves as a guest room}.

But, where to keep his growing collection of boyish treasures? What of a cozy place to sit and look at books under a lamp's soft glow? Yes, a bookcase, a fun chair, and a lamp were in need.

A trip to Ikea yielded Tukes a bookcase to house his books and treasures. The attic produced a chrome Luxo lamp {you know, Pixar!} and a knock-off Butterfly chair... all just like Big Brother's {much to his delight}! 

Tukes' little room is cozy, colorful, and fun... and suddenly way more boyish than babyish. Just like him.
